Excellent tea and coffee options in the room. The private bathroom was a nice touch.
Navigating to the hotel at night can be tricky with no streetlights. I nearly missed the Farm sign. After a long day of exploring, having hot chocolate in the room would have been a welcomed addition. Breakfast seating could be improved. Individual tables would be preferable over a long banquet table for a more intimate experience.

The location was excellant and stunning, near centre of Great Ayton, the nearest pub, and Mill Farm B&B. Our room was good-sized and provided with a double bed, a superb shower, for example as expected. The team provided an excellent service.

Charming stay with a cozy atmosphere
The farmhouse had a rustic charm, and the hosts, Melody and Graeme, went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable despite the unexpected power outage. I particularly appreciated the well-stocked tea and coffee facilities in the room. It would be nice if breakfast seating was organized in a more intimate setup rather than a long banquet table.

Breakfast choices were excellent, ensuring guests start their day well. Cleanliness stood out, with the communal areas and rooms meticulously maintained. The location offered a peaceful retreat with a quick walk to the village center, but the lack of individual tables for dining felt impersonal. A hot chocolate option would have enhanced the in-room beverage selections, and better signage for nighttime navigation would have been helpful for arrivals after dark.

pleasant stay with minor room for improvement
The cleanliness of the room was really good. I appreciated the lovely complimentary chocolates provided. The compact double room was cleverly designed, offering a cozy space despite its size. The selection of tea and coffee facilities was excellent, ensuring I had everything I needed for a relaxing evening.
Breakfast seating could be more intimate.

I loved finding two yummy chocolate bars and spring water waiting for me in my room after a long drive! The amazing shower in the brand new bathroom was such a treat after a day of exploring the beautiful landscapes nearby. Just a heads up, a few breakfast items could've been better organized, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. 😊
